PRESIDENT OF GHANA TO ADDRESS THE NATION ON COVID-19

President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is once again to address the nation tonight, October 18, 2020.

This will be the 18th update on measures taken against the  spread of the novel coronavirus since our first case was recorded in March.

The President is therefore expected to address the general public on the various decisions taken concerning this dreadful pandemic at 8pm GMT.

Information released from the Ghana Health Service as of today October 18, 2020 indicates that, Ghana's active cases has gradually reduced drastically to 344. 33 persons were tested positive, with 46,578 recoveries/discharged patients whilst the number of deaths stands at 310.

This update will be live on @NakufoAddo, GTV and on some major news channels across the country.

Ayawaso West Wougon, a notable constituency under the Accra Metropolitan Area of the Greater Accra region of Ghana has over the years elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first-past-the-post system of election.
