NEWS IN: NDC MP RESIGNS FROM APPOINTMENTS COMMITTEE

The Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has delivered a resignation letter to withdraw from Parliament’s Appointments Committee. This bacame public after, Mr. Okudzeto addressed his profound statement to the incumbent Speaker of parliament, Alban Kingsford Bagbin in a letter dated 30th March, 2021 where he elucidated that his action follows after days of careful reflection and thoughtful considerations. It is unclear as to why this eloquent and dedicated member of the Committee who takes nominees especially through rigorous CV scrutiny is stepping down. But he added in the letter that, the core reason for his resignation is both personal and principle. Mr. Samuel further indicated that nor matter what may, he wouldn't be available for the vetting of President Akuffo Addo's nominees for ministrial position. NEWS IN: OXFORD INSTITUTE OF JOURNALISM TO HOLD ORIENTATION FOR FRESHERS

Oxford Institute of Business and Journalism, together with the Students' Representative Council (SRC) has scheduled to hold an Orientation and Freshers' night for first year students right at the school's premises on Friday, March 19, 2021. This educative and entertaining program is specifically organised for first year students to help them feel exited about beginning another level of education and also nourish their transition to campus life and the independence that accompanies it. The core content of this event is to serve as an opportunity for students to learn how things work within the school's domain. Orientation will start at 11:00am promt, while Freshers' night takes place at exactly 07:00pm till mama calls. Students are therefore entreated to be present on time. BREAKING: GOVERNMENT SUSPENDS ASTRAZENECA COVID SHOTS AFTER BLOOD CLOT REPORTS

Information reaching EmilyNewsHub indicates that, Denmark has put the use of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine shots on hold for two weeks after reports of cases of blood clots forming including one death in Denmark. This was made known by the Danish authority on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Though the number of reports on blood has not been disclosed but Austria has stopped using a batch of AstraZeneca shots while investigating death from coagulation disorders and an illness from a pulmonary embolism. The director of Danish Health Authority, Soren Brostrom maid it known in a statement that, Both  the authourity together with the Danish Medicines Agency have to respond to reports of possible serious side-effects from both Denmark and other European countries.
