THIS IS HOW THE CANDIDATES WOULD BE PLACED ON THE BALLOT PAPER

As an electorate, it's highly momentous to know the format and sample of how the various presidential Candidates are arranged on the ballot paper in order not to get stranded at the polling station.

It becomes a heart wrenching after giving a thumb for a candidate unawarely or unexpectedly and that's why one must have some basics before going the polling station.

Below is the list of how the candidates would be placed on the ballot paper 

1. New Patriotic Party (NPP) - Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo 

2. National Democratic Congress (NDC)- John Dramani Mahama

3.Ghana Union Movement (GUM) -Christian Kwabena Andrews.

4. Convention People's Party (CPP)- Ivor Kobina Greenstreet 

5. Freedom Party (FP) - Madam Akua Donkor 

6.The Great Consolidated Pupular Party (GCPP) - Henry Herbert Lartey

7. All People's Congress (APC)- Hassan Ayariga of the All People’s Congress

8. Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG)- Kofi Akpaloo

9. People's National Convention (PNC) - David Apasera 

10. Progressive People's Party (PPP)- Brigitte Dzogbenuku  

11. National Democratic Party (NDP)- Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings

12. Independent Candidate (IND)-Alfred Kwame Asiedu Walker.

Ayawaso West Wougon, a notable constituency under the Accra Metropolitan Area of the Greater Accra region of Ghana has over the years elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first-past-the-post system of election. MINISTER WARN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS AGAINST INCREASING OF FEES

The Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, Prof. Kwesi Yankah, has ordered the management of the various public universities not to increase school fees for the 2020/2021 academic year. Prof. Yankah made this clear when speaking to Citi News on the sidelines of the “Transforming Teacher Education and Learning Program” by the National Council for Education. "The recurrent increase in fees is worrying" He stated. He said, he was rather surprised and abhorred about the arbitrary increases which appear to be recurrent almost every year and hence, any increase in fees without parliamentary approval would be unlawful.
