CORONAVIRUS: GHANA RECORDS MORE DEATHS AS ACTIVE CASES INCREASES.

Report reaching the general public by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) indicates that Ghana has recorded 554 new covid-19 cases with 12 deaths as of Thursday, February 11, 2021.

The covid-19 active cases in Ghana has inflated to 6,948 with 113 patients in severe situation whiles 29 others are in critical condition.

All the recorded cases, when accumulated, sums up to 73,557 and out of the above recorded figures, 66,115 persons have recovered and successfully discharged.

Below is the regional distribution/breakdown of the covid-19 case in Ghana.

Greater Accra Region - 43,044

Ashanti Region - 13,231

Western Region - 4,164

Eastern Region - 3,211

Central Region - 2,498

Volta Region - 1,181

Bono East Region - 882

Northern Region - 802

Upper East Region - 755

Western North Region - 737

Bono Region - 718

Ahafo Region - 565

Upper West Region - 251

Oti Region - 250

Savannah Region - 68

North East Region - 37

NEWS IN: OXFORD INSTITUTE OF JOURNALISM TO HOLD ORIENTATION FOR FRESHERS

Oxford Institute of Business and Journalism, together with the Students' Representative Council (SRC) has scheduled to hold an Orientation and Freshers' night for first year students right at the school's premises on Friday, March 19, 2021.
