BREAKING: GOVERNMENT SUSPENDS ASTRAZENECA COVID SHOTS AFTER BLOOD CLOT REPORTS
Information reaching EmilyNewsHub indicates that, Denmark has put the use of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine shots on hold for two weeks after reports of cases of blood clots forming including one death in Denmark.
This was made known by the Danish authority on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Though the number of reports on blood has not been disclosed but Austria has stopped using a batch of AstraZeneca shots while investigating death from coagulation disorders and an illness from a pulmonary embolism.
The director of Danish Health Authority, Soren Brostrom maid it known in a statement that, Both the authourity together with the Danish Medicines Agency have to respond to reports of possible serious side-effects from both Denmark and other European countries.
The vaccine would therefore be suspended for 14 days.
