JUST IN: PRESIDENT AKUFFO ADDO TO ADDRESS THE NATION TONIGHT.

The incumbent President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is to deliver an update tonight, 16th May, 2021 on measures taken against spread of coronavirus.

This address is hopefully the 25th update to the nation since the country recorded it's first two cases in March, 2020.


The last address (Update No. 24) to the nation was on February 28, 2021 when he announced the arrival of our first shipped doses of the Astrazeneca sars-cov 2 vaccine into the country.

This program will be live at 8:00pm on @NAkufoAddo, GTV and on some major media channels across the country.

After giving a long break for about 10weeks to assess the situation, what are your expectations??

MINISTER WARN TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS AGAINST INCREASING OF FEES

The Minister of State in charge of Tertiary Education, Prof. Kwesi Yankah, has ordered the management of the various public universities not to increase school fees for the 2020/2021 academic year. Prof. Yankah made this clear when speaking to Citi News on the sidelines of the “Transforming Teacher Education and Learning Program” by the National Council for Education. "The recurrent increase in fees is worrying" He stated. He said, he was rather surprised and abhorred about the arbitrary increases which appear to be recurrent almost every year and hence, any increase in fees without parliamentary approval would be unlawful. The people of Himba in the Kunene and Omusati regions of Northern Namibia, the Ovahimba and Ovazimba tribes offer sex as gift to guests. In the culture and customary belief, the people are expected to give this kind offer to a visitor after a man shows his approval and pleasure of seeing his guest by giving him the Okujepisa Omukazendu, the treatment where the wife is giving to the guest to spend the night while the husband sleeps in another room or outside in-terms of inadequate accommodation in order to reduce jealousy, and apparently foster relationships.
